Our Ministries

From after school Bible clubs to a week long summer camp, we utilize multiple avenues to reach the children of the Texas Panhandle with the Good News of the Gospel.  Need training for yourself or your volunteers on conducting an effective children's ministry?  We offer that, too.

All of our ministries utilize materials from CEF Press, a division of our USA Ministries Headquarters, which has been producing high quality, Bible-based ministry curriculum for over 75 years.

Good News Clubs meet once a week in schools, homes, churches, and other locations.  With their parents' permission, children attend these clubs and enjoy a time of Bible stories, songs, and activities all with a Gospel-centered message.  In an average year, our Good News Club ministry reaches over 1,000 kids in the Texas Panhandle with the Gospel.

During the summer months, children gather in backyards, community centers, parks and other locations for Five Day Clubs.  Over five consecutive days, they hear the Gospel through Bible Lessons, a missionary story, exciting games, songs and activities.

How are you spending your summer?  Christian Youth in Action is a week long training wherein teens learn how to prepare and conduct Bible lessons geared toward kids.  After training, teens go to their local communities and conduct Five Day Clubs in apartment complexes, day cares, and other locations.  Visit cefwesttexas.com/cyia for additional info.

Camp Good News happens every summer.  With permission from their parents, kids ages 8-14 can join us for a fun and exciting week filled with games, activities, and learning about God.  There is a fee to attend.

J You Connection (JYC) is a place for middle-school kids and young teens (ages 11-14) to enjoy faith, fun and friends.  Using CEF curriculum, JYC clubs continue the teaching of Good News Clubs to kids beyond their elementary school years.
